Paul Dixon - The Classical Show

Paul Dixon has been collecting records and CDs for over 50 years, and is now having great fun sharing the music with others over the radio. The first record he bought was ‘My Generation’ by the Who, in 1965, but the explosion of inventiveness that followed in the late 1960’s made him realise that all music is interconnected, and so he soon began to explore the vast repository of music that had gone before – including all that wonderful stuff filed under ‘Classical’. The journey of musical discovery is still going on, and Paul would love you to join him on it – every Sunday night between 9pm and 11pm.

Barbara-Anne Saturday Breeze

Barbara-Anne has always had a love for radio and loved entering competitions (remember ‘Poparama’ on a Saturday morning ?). Having worked in a few radio stations in administration and sales, this is her first time behind the microphone. Her idea for the show was to play music that has been forgotten by main stream radio and to have fun with it.
